CornerStone Ryder Cup App
This year, we have developed a new application to manage the CornerStone Ryder Cup, including team and flight assignments, scorecard entry, live match results, team points and the overall leaderboard.
Open the app using the button above and log in with your registered mobile number. If you encounter any problems, please contact the organiser.
This tournament will be the application’s first live field test, so hopefully there will not be too many bugs! Please be patient and inform the organiser immediately if you encounter any problems.
Before the round
- Both team captains will assign their players to one of the seven flights.
- After completing the assignments, each captain must tap Mark Team Ready.
- A private team communication window is available below the assignment section. The captain can inform the team when all flights have been assigned.
- Team members can view their playing partner and assigned flight, then discuss their strategy in the team chat.
- Team KEPPEL and Team ROS cannot see each other’s assignments before the pairings are published.
- The Round 1 pairings will be published on Wednesday at 6:00 PM. Once published, assignments will be locked and everyone will be able to see the opposing players in their flight.
- Round 2 assignments will begin only after Round 1 has been completed and each team has discussed its Round 2 strategy.
- The scorecard will become available only after the organiser assigns each flight to its starting tee—Tee 1 or Tee 10.
Scorecard quick guide
- Everyone can access the scorecard, but appoint only one person in each flight to enter scores to avoid duplicate or conflicting entries.
- Another player in the flight should keep a manual scorecard as a backup.
- Enter the actual gross score for all four players after every hole. The app calculates differential handicaps, net scores and match results automatically.
- Check all four scores before moving to the next hole. Return to the affected hole to correct any error.
- Use Enter Score to enter or correct scores, Leaderboard for live flight and team results, Match Details for hole-by-hole results and My Scorecard for your personal scorecard.
- If the signal is weak, keep the scorecard open and continue entering scores. Avoid repeatedly refreshing or closing the page, and check that the scores synchronise when the connection returns.
- After 18 holes, check that all four players have a score for every hole and confirm the match result with the opposing team before completing the round.

Know before you play
Tournament Rules
The tournament consists of three 18-hole match-play rounds over seven flights each day. Days 1 and 2 are two-player Team Matches. Day 3 has two separate Singles Matches—Match 1 and Match 2—in every flight.
A tied component awards 0.5 tournament point to each team. Front 9 always means Holes 1–9 and Back 9 always means Holes 10–18, regardless of whether the flight starts from Tee 1 or Tee 10.
How each Team Match hole is scored
On Days 1 and 2, two separate ball comparisons are made on every hole. After handicap strokes are applied, each team’s two net scores are ranked as its Better Ball and Second Ball.
The lower of each team’s two net scores is compared. Winning this comparison moves the team 1 UP.
The remaining net scores are compared. Winning this comparison moves the team 1 UP.
A tied ball comparison causes no movement. The result of both comparisons is combined and carried forward from hole to hole.
On the first hole, if Team A wins both the Better Ball and Second Ball comparisons, Team A is 2 UP. If Team A wins one comparison and ties the other, Team A is 1 UP. If both comparisons are tied, or Team A wins one and loses the other, the match remains AS.
The cumulative match position over Holes 1–9 determines the F9 result, Holes 10–18 determine the B9 result, and all 18 holes determine the Overall result. These results then award the tournament points shown above.
The player with the lowest assigned handicap in each flight plays off zero. That lowest handicap is deducted from each of the other three players’ handicaps to determine their playing handicaps.
The resulting strokes are applied according to the hole Stroke Index. A player receiving three strokes gets one stroke on Stroke Index holes 1–3. A player receiving more than 18 strokes gets a second stroke on the applicable lowest Stroke Index holes.
Catch-up points may be awarded to the team that is behind after a completed round. They are discretionary and are not guaranteed.
- After Day 1, catch-up points may be awarded to the losing team and added to its Day 2 result.
- After Day 2, catch-up points may be awarded to the losing team and added to its Day 3 result.
- The number, if any, depends on the margin and the organisers’ assessment.
- Catch-up points are team points, not handicap strokes.
The final result is the total of all Day 1, Day 2 and Day 3 match points plus any catch-up points awarded. The team with the higher total wins the 5th CornerStone Ryder Cup 2026.
If both teams finish with the same total, the tournament is declared a tie. There is no tie-breaker.
Play and score with confidence
Scorecard Quick Guide
- Tap the score box for the current hole.
- Enter each player’s gross score using the keypad. Use 10+ for a score of 10 or more.
- The keypad moves to the next player automatically and returns to the main screen after all four scores are entered.
- Check all four scores before moving to the next hole.
To correct an entry, return to the affected hole, tap the existing score and enter the correct gross score. The app recalculates the affected results automatically.
The lowest assigned handicap in the flight plays off zero. That handicap is deducted from the other three players, and the app applies the resulting strokes according to the hole Stroke Index.
The scorecard opens at the assigned starting hole. For a Tee 10 start, play Holes 10–18 first and then Holes 1–9.
- F9: Holes 1–9
- B9: Holes 10–18
- O/A: Overall 18 holes
Each match awards 1 point for F9, 1 point for B9 and 1 point for Overall. A tied component gives 0.5 point to each team. Only completed components are added to the tournament total.
If the signal becomes weak, keep the scorecard open and continue entering scores. Avoid repeatedly refreshing, closing the page or clearing browser data. When the connection returns, check that the latest scores have synchronised.
After all 18 holes, check every player’s scores, review F9, B9 and Overall in Match Details, review your card under My Scorecard, confirm the results with the opponents and complete the round as instructed.
Once the scorecard is locked, later corrections must be made by an authorised administrator.
